Services
I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation so you can get a sense of how I work before booking your first session.
My aim is to create a space where you are not expected to meet expectations or fit into a particular therapeutic model.
I support adults of all ages and from many different backgrounds. Life can leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected from ourselves, our relationships or our sense of direction. For some this builds gradually: for others, it follows a difficult experience or a significant change.
Whatever has brought you here, counselling can offer a steady place to pause, reflect, and begin to make sense of what you are carrying.
In our sessions, you will find a calm, accepting environment where you can talk openly and be heard without judgement.
We will explore what feels most important to you, always working at your pace.
Together, we can:
. Make sense of your experiences
. Explore patterns and emotions
. Build clarity and confidence
. Reconnect with your inner direction
Therapy is not about instant solutions. It is about creating enough space, time, and support for genuine understanding and growth. Many feel people find that, with consistency, they feel lighter, more centred, and more able to move forwards.
Frequently asked questions.
What is counselling?

It is a collaborative process that helps you understand yourself more deeply, work through difficulties, and develop healthier ways of coping or moving forward.
How long is a counselling session and how many sessions will I need?
I offer a full 50 minutes, whether it is face to face or online. The amount of sessions you chose to take is up to you. I offer both short and long term counselling.
What qualifications do you have?
Level 2 and 3 in Counselling skills - Macclesfield College
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling - Stockport College

Keeping up to date with professional development is vital and I try to attend as may workshops and training courses, as well as receive monthly supervision.
Where does the counselling take place?
Most of my counselling is done on line, but I do have access to some rooms for sessions, plus the walk and talk therapy is carried out in risk assessed environments in Alderley, Wilmslow and Bramhall.
